Profile |
Dan Ehrman has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State
University. Having inherited his father's interest in plants,
Dan began working with a landscape contractor/arborist in central
Pennsylvania on the hottest day in July 1974. This company instilled
in Dan excellent work habits and an appreciation of plant diversity.
Two years later he moved to Morgantown, West Virginia to be crew
chief for a large landscape company.
In 1977 he started his own business with a '56'
Chevy pickup, a few tools and the fond childhood memory and inspiration
of Andy the Plowman and his sidekick Pops, who
smelled of sweat and engine oil. Dan moved to the more sophisticated
Charlottesville, Virginia in 1988.
Since
then Dan has grown his business based on client demand for a variety
of services.
Dan is an active member and past President of the Piedmont
Landscape Association and is certified by the Interlocking Concrete
Paver Institute.
